HIGH VOLTAGE DETECTOR MOTWANE HV -50

The high voltage Detector HV-50 is a SAFETY DEVICE used to verify that the overhead line is not LIVE prior to earthing. It is suitable for 11 KV/33KV supply lines. It is powered by a single 9V battery. The HV Detector is continuous monitoring type i.e. The internal circuit of the equipment is continuously powered by the battery and it keeps monitoring the voltage level at the contact electrode. As soon as the voltage level at the contact electrode exceeds 3 KV. The HV Detector starts annunciation with flashing Red LED's and Buzzer beep indicating that the overhead line is LIVE and not to safe to earth.

Supplied as a complete Kit with HV Detector Probe, Telescopic Insulating Stick and an ergonomically designed sturdy Carry bag.
Indicates the presence of HIGH VOLTAGE by Audio as well as Visual annunciation, Bright high intensity RED LED's provide clear visual indication  even in unfavorable daylight conditions. A Buzzer produces loud beep  which is  audible even under noisy backgrounds.
Powered by a single 9V battery to offer more than 9000 hours of operation.  In built facility to inhibit use of instrument under drained battery condition.

The new 5 & 10 kV insulation resistance testers from Megger are designed specifically to assist you with the testing and maintenance of high voltage electrical equipment. IEEE 43-2000 recommends the use of 10 kV for motor windings rated above 12 kV and the Megger MIT1020 facilitates this. The case is incredibly rugged and easy to carry, being made of tough polypropylene and achieving an ingress protection rating of IP65. In addition,
the model number is marked on both the top and side of the case for ease of identification in stores or vehicles.
